If you are coming on the M5 from the north, go to Junction 23 and turn off to Bridgwater.

If you are coming on the M5 from the south, go to Junction 24 and turn off to Bridgwater.

Follow signs to the A39 to Minehead. Once on the A39 follow this road for 17 miles to pass through Williton, turning right at the small roundabout there to keep on the A39.

Continue for a further 6 miles, passing Dunster Castle on your left. Turn left on to the A396 towards Dunster village. As the road bears round to the left into the High Street, the Yarn Market is ahead in the centre of the street. Turn right on the far side of it and park to unload by the entrance to the hotel.

There is free car parking in the High Street or a permit is available from the hotel for the Dunster car park.

If you are coming from the south on the M5 you may prefer to turn off at Junction 27 on to the A361 to the first roundabout near Tiverton. Turn right here on to the A396. This is a slow, winding but delightful road following the River Exe valley up on to Exmoor. It passes through Bampton and Wheddon Cross before dropping down to Timberscombe and Dunster. Coming this way the road enters Dunster from the south. Pass through the traffic lights and you enter the High Street with the Yarn Market ahead. Turn in before the building to the entrance of the hotel.
